Basic setting where human race already expanding into outer space. on outer space human race are in war with alien race called wulgaru.
the main point from this anime is the character design, their personality weren't like normal main character. they even got nickname as bottom five.
Hitachi Izuru, Leader from bottom five, young boy who always dream to be a hero. very plain where his member always tease him.
his mecha are red one, who excel at versatile combat. role as leader
Asagi Toshikazu, young man who prefer working alone, have chronic stomach ache when he got stress
his mecha are blue one, who excel at close combat where he use sword. role as close combat fighter
Kugumiya Rei, young girl who always serious but bad at say nice things.
her mecha is Violet one, who excel at long range combat information, role as CIC or AWACS
Irie Tamaki, young girl who always see any chance as romance love chance,
her mecha is Pink one, Who excel at speed, role as diversion to breakthrough enemy line and start confusion
Suruga Ataru, young man who maniak with military and a bit pervert,
his mecha is yellow one, who excel at long range combat, role as sniper
