This review about i use G2 almost 1 month.
1st impresion is the battery real deal. For 8 hour work time, with usual type on whatapps, facebook, mail, etc.
from 6:00 AM till 22:00 AM it left me 20%
Altought as expected depend on how good your provider was. It tend get pretty hot in place lack of mobile data netwrok it drain power quite fast.
The LG UI quite nice altought it irritating not simple. But because not simple, it give quite option of customize.
About ram. Quite nutz. It took 1.2gb ram on UI, so left 800mb for apps.
It quite good but not expect too much on heavy things.
Camera it slef. Have lot of customation,the best option was "beauty shot" where it will "fix" your photo too make people face became "younger & prettier" nice add for girl who love take pic on herself.
Snap shot has limit 20 shot, for me more then enough.
Indonesia version got 32gb built in storage and non replacable battery. For me not a big deal as i state above battery not to worry.
Other unexpected, premium headset are outstanding. It beat my phillips headset. Basic equilzer for music are great but not peRfect.
And fun part, music built in can play flac, most of smartphone maker forgot about this.
Video player good,but cant display subs on mkv file. So need download other apps like mx player.
Guest mode,quite good for protecting your privacy/Data from children who tends to open everythings.
And spec wise it not lying. It start up till ready to use about 20s.
And got never real hot on normal gaming apps. Not some great racing game.
and funny part, knock on part make habit. As i automatic "knock on" for every touchscreen gadget i use, suvh as ipad. It feel so stupid to do that on ipad.
LED indicator are good gimmick, as it help to reduce usage. Just look on led. If blink you got something. If not, no one needs you :p
And it has variety color,so just look at color and you can disguish if it was a call or just a mail.
